Taneka Forbes

Taneka Michelle Forbes is a humble, God fearing, anointed vessel that God has raised her up to be a dynamic woman that He is using mightily.

She was privileged to serve as Youth Director for several years at The Church of God of Prophecy under the leadership of Bishop T.R. Beckwith.

She is also an anointed songwriter and wrote for several national projects such as the Stellar Award Winning Y.F.C, “The Struggle Is Over” album, Y.F.C’s, “Thank Him In Advance, Troy Sneed’s, “In Due Season”, etc. She has also written for her husband, Omega Forbes’ “Due Season” and “The Next Chapter” albums.

She has served as the Business Manager for the Family & Friends Chorale since their inception, which is a group that her husband founded in 1999. She has served as Business Manager for Drega Ministries and was also the co-founder of Forbes Ministries International and is serving in several capacities.

She is the founder of M.O.M.M (Ministers of Music and Musician) Wives, which is a non profit fellowship whose mission is to edify, empower and encourage women who are married to men in ministry, particularly music ministry.

She was licensed and ordained as an Evangelist in the Lords church in January 2013. She was also a mentor in Pearls of Virtue Mentoring Ministry, a member of the United Voices and a member of the praise and worship team at Celebrate New Life Tabernacle. She was also on the ministerial staff and humbly served as the D.O.V.E. S. (Daughters of Virtue, Excellence & Spirit) Coordinator (the women’s ministry), under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Dr. Joseph Henderson.

She currently serves at Deliverance Temple Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Titus Deas, Jr. She is also a member of Judah, which is a well-respected, sought after female gospel group.

She is a psalmist, producer, dynamic speaker, poet, songwriter, an arranger, directress and entrepreneur.
