It is our sincere desire to touch the hearts of individuals from all walks of life, regardless of ethnic background, religious belief or denomination. We are committed to give of ourselves in the service of God, in such a unique way, in order that we will capture the attention of all that we minister to.
The Family & Friends Chorale
The Family & Friends Chorale is a powerful group of singers, comprised of family and friends of Omega Forbes, who is the founder and director of this great ministry. Omega organized a chorale consisting of various family members and friends to sing at his initial sermon after accepting his calling into the ministry in May of 1999. When they began to sing at that service, the glory of the Lord filled the place and the atmosphere shifted. It was an experience that exceeded expectations because this was only intended to be a one-time thing, but at that service, it was apparent that God had another plan.
This group is an anointed group of men and women from various denominational backgrounds that come together with one accord to minister to the people of God in a very unique way. Within this group, the talent, gifts and callings (of God) are phenomenal and includes teachers, dynamic singers, songwriters, musicians and some have even gone on to pastor churches. The most important factor is that a yolk destroying anointing is upon this ministry and when we minister, we have a unique ability to literally turn average musical programs/concerts into worship experiences.

Taneka Forbes
Taneka Michelle Forbes is a humble, God fearing, anointed vessel that God has raised her up to be a dynamic woman that He is using mightily.
She was privileged to serve as Youth Director for several years at The Church of God of Prophecy under the leadership of Bishop T.R. Beckwith.
She is also an anointed songwriter and wrote for several national projects such as the Stellar Award Winning Y.F.C, “The Struggle Is Over” album, Y.F.C’s, “Thank Him In Advance, Troy Sneed’s, “In Due Season”, etc. She has also written for her husband, Omega Forbes’ “Due Season” and “The Next Chapter” albums.
She has served as the Business Manager for the Family & Friends Chorale since their inception, which is a group that her husband founded in 1999. She has served as Business Manager for Drega Ministries and was also the co-founder of Forbes Ministries International and is serving in several capacities.
She is the founder of M.O.M.M (Ministers of Music and Musician) Wives, which is a non profit fellowship whose mission is to edify, empower and encourage women who are married to men in ministry, particularly music ministry.
She was licensed and ordained as an Evangelist in the Lords church in January 2013. She was also a mentor in Pearls of Virtue Mentoring Ministry, a member of the United Voices and a member of the praise and worship team at Celebrate New Life Tabernacle. She was also on the ministerial staff and humbly served as the D.O.V.E. S. (Daughters of Virtue, Excellence & Spirit) Coordinator (the women’s ministry), under the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Dr. Joseph Henderson.
She currently serves at Deliverance Temple Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Titus Deas, Jr. She is also a member of Judah, which is a well-respected, sought after female gospel group.
She is a psalmist, producer, dynamic speaker, poet, songwriter, an arranger, directress and entrepreneur.

Omega Forbes
Minister Omega Forbes, born July 29, 1975 is an anointed, well respected and dedicated man of God. He was born into a family with a love and appreciation for music; thus, Omega's passion for music began at an early age. Not only is Omega an anointed singer, but he is also an anointed lyricist and preacher, and he walks in the calling that has been placed on his life.
Omega has worked with numerous musical ministries throughout his life; those ministries include, Lamar Simmons & The Ambassadors of Christ, Tabernacle Collegiate Choir, and The Soldiers of Prophecy. On other occasions, Omega has had the opportunity to share the stage with illustrious recording artists such as: Vicki Winans, Tye Tribbett, Hezekiah Walker, Mali Music, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Marvin Sapp, Shirley Caesar, Beverly Crawford, Byron Cage, Kurt Carr, Rev. Milton Bigham and Georgia Mass Choir, Troy Sneed, Tamela Mann, David "Mr. Brown" Mann, The Williams Brothers, Dorothy Norwood, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson, Donnie McClurkin, the legendary Temptations and more. Omega was instrumental, in the area of lyricist and is featured as a lead vocalist on the Y.F.C. (Youth for Christ); Love Comes In All Colors album, along with Kim Burrell and other gospel artist and on Y.F.C's latest album entitled, "Thank Him In Advance". He has also written for Leoford Thomas' "With You Always" album, Y.F.C.'s Stellar Award winning "The Struggle is Over" album and Troy Sneed's, "In Due Season" album. He has recorded four full length projects to date, with the latest being a power packed 15 track, 12 song album entitled, "The Next Chapter".
Omega has appeared on television broadcast shows such as "Your Voice" and "PowerHouse". He has also appeared on Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion and "Just Be Real" (Gospel Lounge Artist) which aired on the Word Network. In an effort to reach out to his community, he sang for functions sponsored by the United Way, the Urban League, Big Bend Cares, Bridgeway Halfway House, Jubilee Job-Link, Martin Luther King Day Celebration, The Sickle Cell Foundation and the NAACP. He also sang for productions such as, "Grandma's Hats", "Sunday Night Live", "Leave Wrong Alone", "After Church Live" and others. He has also been recognized as the 1st Place winner of the North Florida Fair's Gospel Showcase. He had the distinct honor of being named, "Male Artist of the Year" at the first Capital City Awards in 2010 and his group, The Family & Friends Chorale, the honor of being named, "Group of the Year".
Minister Forbes is multifaceted in the area of singing and he is a positive force as a Praise and Worship leader. During Praise and Worship, he strives to minister in such a way as to create an atmosphere conducive for Worship. His mission is to lead people beyond the veil and into the presence of the Lord.
As a means of sharing his knowledge of music, Omega also conducts workshops. These workshops are designed with the intent of providing material and information that will enhance the Music Ministry of the respective organizations. These workshops have proven to motivate the choir, praise team and leadership in the respective music ministry to strive for the kind of excellence that will move the music ministry into another dimension and turn their services into worship experiences.
Minister Forbes currently serves as the director of The Family & Friends Chorale; which he founded in 1999. From its inception, The Family and Friends Chorale have grown in every sense of the word and have proven to be a tremendous blessing at home and abroad.
He also served as Director of Music at Shady Grove #1 P.B. Church where Elder Chester F. Brown III is Pastor.
He also served as the Director of Worship at Celebrate New Life Tabernacle where Rev. Joseph W. Henderson is the Senior Pastor. Not only did he direct several choirs and groups, but he also oversaw musicians, dance and mime teams and a drama ministry.
He currently serves as the Minister of Music at Deliverance Temple Ministries where Bishop Titus Deas, Jr is the Senior Pastor. Omega is a praiser (such as David), but he is certainly a worshipper and is anointed to usher you right into the very presence of the Lord.
He is happily married to the love of his life, Mrs. Taneka M. Forbes (married December 11, 1999) and boldly refers to her as his; "Heaven Sent Angel" and they have two beautiful children, Destiny A. Forbes and Omega A. Forbes II.
